Certificate of Education in Integrated Child Protection studies

DNA and Bath Spa University have joined forces to offer a new, accredited qualification for the wider children’s workforce; A Certificate of Education in “Integrated Child Protection Studies”

Current available modules include

1. Integrated safeguarding of children
2. Questioning skills for professional outcomes
3. Safeguarding disabled children
4. Child exploitation and the internet
5. Understanding Neglect
6. Understanding and interpreting child behaviour
7. Child development and observation

(Additional modules are being developed.)

Funding and costs
The modules are funded on a ‘co-funding’ 50/50 basis. The employer’s contribution can be in kind in the form of the teaching and assessment of the modules.
